{"text":" Hey guys, just before we get into the podcast, we just wanted to let you know that we are currently in the process of fundraising for a short film called Between Sundays.  There'll be a link down in the description for you to give, but yeah.  Anything you guys give, we would so greatly appreciate it, and just thank you in advance for all of you that have given already.  But yeah, without further ado, let's get into the podcast.  You!  Hey guys, welcome back to another podcast.  So today, we are, oh, hold on.  I forgot to introduce Jesus.  I'm Michelle, you're so sweet.  And I'm joined by lovely.  Matthias.  And wonderful.  Daniel, let's go.  We put on our story a couple days ago.  A Q&A box, so you guys can put in any questions that you want to ask us.  And we went through them.  We're going to go through them now, actually, some new questions.  So stay tuned and let's see if you, your question got answered.  Then, do you have any questions?  I do have the questions.  Also, first of all, thank you guys for actually submitting.  Sorry.  Thank you.  Questions.  I also wanted to add that we have a little sound timer here.  I think it's around half an hour.  Anyway, we just wanted to put this on and make sure we answer enough questions until the sound time ends.  The first question is, oh, thanks Michelle.  That's great.  The first question is, how is your creative process for making and recording videos?  And it's by FI3OM underscore.  So shout out to you for asking that question.  How is your creative process for making and recording videos?  It's a question for you two.  These two are the creative backbones of this platform.  No, but really, you guys are, you do a lot of creative work here, along with other people.  But what do you think?  Well, I think it helps that we have a lot of writing days as a team.  So we have every Tuesday we come together and we actually write out a lot of our stuff,  like the acting videos that we put on our Instagram and TikTok that people love.  Like, yes, we script those.  And we sit as a team and we come up with, like, short lists and we do all this stuff.  Because we actually want to be intentional with the content that we make.  So good.  We also want to be, like, one of our core values that the way team is being spirit led.  And we want to give, like, enough time for the Lord to speak to us and to direct us for us to go,  oh, that's sick.  That could be God, like, oh, we really like this idea.  Okay, let's run with it.  How do we honor that and give time to it?  So, yeah, having days to plan and also having days to film and not just being like,  oh, it will take five minutes, but blocking out enough time.  Yeah.  So that if we go over core, if we are under core.  Yeah.  It's like allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in our ideas that we have.  And being able to, like, I think what a blessing is, I mean, one of the biggest blessings  that I, like, reflect on a lot is when we come together and we write, we might come up with  an idea and one person might be like, oh, wait, okay, maybe we could shoot this in this  way.  Maybe we could get an angle like this, like finding really creative, cool ways, like new ideas,  and new ways of being able to tell a story that, you know, we might actually personally  go through, you know, I mean, recently we filmed something about like, I mean, hopefully  it might already be out by now, but like a friend, like, going to a party, feeling overwhelmed,  you know, we were filming that at my house and like, just taking moments like that and  like real life moments that might happen and bringing them in into our world and like,  maybe I might add a little bit later about that.  Wow.  We missed.  It's the remurx.  Yeah, I'm translating it, writing it into a wonderful script for you guys to watch and  relate to, and feel seen in as well because we all go through and we're not alone in this  Christian walk.  Mhm.  Yeah.  And I think it's good to also mention that it's like a team effort.  So as much as it's like, you've got people on camera that are like creative with their  acting or creative with like how they want to say certain lines. There's also a team of people  behind the scenes that are creative with like a which shot are we going to use and like how do we  use the lighting to create feeling. And even Michelle you're really good at this too like when  you write scripts you're very like you can see it on paper but you can also see how it looks  and like you understand how to put the language down to create shot lists. But like we all play  to our own like strengths and stuff which actually helps as a team because then it's not all  on one person. Yeah and it sort of like alleviates the pressure for one person to have all the ideas  all the shot lists everything. And that's what I love about every single person within a team.  They have strengths that they get yet to bring together and as we do that we build something  that's beautiful and we post it. It's almost like I gotta look at this as a little baby.  It's a question then. It's a question then. Well on the back of that, a question by  Spanish curves four, she asked, do you guys ever have creative disagreements?  Yes. And how do you deal with them then? We fight to the death. I'm joking.  We have a straw picking system.  I'll say. That's wild. No, I think. Oh, just joking. Easter egg. What are the phrases that we  have as a team? And to be honest, there were days the real phrasing for this, but it's no idea is a  bad idea if it leads to insert whatever. It leads to the good idea. The main idea. The way we use  or whatever. But I think us having that as something that we might joke about but actually  is quite serious to us like no one idea is bad. But we welcome all ideas if it leads to like,  oh, that's the one we're going to run with or like, you know. So I think we actually welcome  difference because we know that it will lead to somewhere that ultimately will be the thing that  we end up doing. And I think we ultimately trust each other enough to run with an idea of  something else isn't like really hitting it in the moment. Yeah. Because we know like, oh no,  wait, actually what you say. I know it's going to come out pretty good if we just follow with what  you like what you're saying. And I love that about our team. We trust each other in what we do.  So it's great. We disagree, how to leave. disagree, agreeably. Yeah. Stealing from another podcast  there if you know. I'm making what that means, but keep not having a clue. What I do have is another  question. No question is a bad question if it leads to the next question. And the next question  is what to look for in a partner as a Christian and this is from Jesus loves are you?  Mate, juicy question. Okay, we want to get my taste because the taste is gay marriage.  Because I am the only relationships expert. Yes, certified. He's got the credentials.  We've got some giggles off of Cam. We've got married men behind the camera. They're all doing this.  Who knows by the time this comes out, you might be a married man. No, you're probably well, bro.  Um, I heard a pastor say one time that when you're looking for a partner, the first thing you need  to look at is Jesus and you start running and you run and you run and you run as fast you can  towards Jesus and then you stop and you look around you and you keep running and you look at Jesus  and you run and you run and you run and you stop and you look around just you and see and you look  to see who is there with you. So you run as fast as you can towards Jesus and then look around  and see who is there with you because ultimately whoever you're going to be in a relationship with,  you want them to be pushing you closer to Jesus. Um, one of the things that I sometimes I see  in certain Christian relationships and again, guys, we're not relationship experts and I'm a  young, young boy, young buck. So take what I say. I'm not an expert. But I see young Christians and  they're like, they're almost like discipling their partner or their girlfriend or their boyfriend.  I don't think that's what we need to be doing in our relationships. We're not meant to be  discipling that person. We can be discipling people, but in that relationship we want to be pushing  each other closer to Jesus. And I'm figuring that out. Hopefully I can continue to push my fiance  closer to Jesus and she definitely pushes me closer to Jesus. But that's ultimately what we want  to look for. Someone that is pushing us closer to Jesus and not someone that is that we need to be  pulling constantly. I love that. Close to Jesus. But again, I'm figuring it out, figuring it out  and I'll continue to be figuring it out. So there's not like a... This is what you should look for,  yeah. Yeah. Anything out to add, then you? I think, like what's it for in our partner? I think  also looking for someone you can have fun with. Yeah. I think like... I don't believe in that.  You don't believe in fun? No. Okay. Well, I think sometimes we make dating seem like this  like really serious thing and stuff, but like you're looking for a life partner like someone to do  forever with. Forever will be really boring if you have no fun. So I think that looking for somebody  that you can actually have a laugh with, like do things that you guys enjoy together, like there's  joy to be found in relationship and it doesn't have to be all serious. That's what I would say.  Yeah, I think one thing I would say would be like you don't have to have to look for somebody  that has the exact same, you know, interests as you as well, you know, shake it up a little.  You can like something else and you can like something else and you can both enjoy it separately.  You don't have to, but you can have fun equally. I don't know if that was a good point. Next question.  We have a question on that because I know like a lot of people say to look for like potential  in somebody like the person that you meet, like when you guys meet, you're not going to be the same  like five, 10, 15 years down the line, like you're constantly evolving, you're constantly changing.  But like when we say like look at potential, what does that mean? Like does that mean? Do you know  I mean, like how do you, how do you weigh what potential is? Because then it goes to like the  discipleship thing of like I don't want to feel like I have to disciple you so that you can reach  your potential. But at the same time, like I want to be able to see somebody that I spot something  in and I'm like, oh wow, like God's going to grow that thing. And like how I want to be  along to see that great. Well, that makes sense. I think that comes down to correct me from  wrong here in my taste. But I think it comes to like being equally old if we come back to that.  Like you want somebody that has the same values as you as a Christian who believes in what the  Bible says and is spirit led. And you don't want somebody to be like you say you don't want to be  like almost like you're discipling your like fiance or the person that you're going to  get married to. You kind of want to equally be running alongside each other. Because if you think  of a like a yolk, they used to put two like similar sized oxen together to be able to run it.  Unless it doesn't like, it doesn't move properly and function properly to like cut the ground if  that makes sense. So you want to see that in your partner. But what was the question that you're  saying again? What was that about that potential? Potential? Potential?  Potential? Potential and similar. I think like I think sometimes girls, I'm just obviously  because I'm going to speak for my perspective. But I think girls can look at guys and think  on a way he's not there yet. Like I'm not going to like, I don't want to even like give him a chance.  And the thing is you're not actually going to be married, you're not going to be married to the  same person that you're going to be married to on your like your wedding day because we evolve,  we change, we grow. So ultimately you're going to be going to somebody somebody like more of yourself  if that makes sense. So I think don't be so picky in that sense. Obviously like it's good to have  your standards, but we're not perfect. Right now, I don't have a lot of facial hair.  But in five, 10 years time, I'm going to have the lunchua's beard growing down.  Right. It's a sign of wisdom. Right. I don't know. You just got to be able to see the golden  people. Sometimes they don't have the gold to show. But they have a lot of potential. I guess  potential is a self-explanatory. You know, they're not there yet, but they're going. They're on  the direction. Yeah. It's all about you. I don't know. Good question though. You see,  you want to be looking at people where they are now and also what God is doing in their lives.  Where they're going. And I think ultimately like Jesus says, you want to know them by their fruit.  So good. And I think I wouldn't say to ignore where somebody is in light of where you wish they  where they can be. But I would also, I would say, look up where they are now and look at the fruit  of that. Because fruit will just continue to bear more fruit. So if there's already fruit now,  then great. More fruits coming. But if there's no fruit right now, then yeah, for certain things,  I would say, yeah, that's probably not where you want to be. That's what I would say. I'm still  figuring this out as well. Yeah. Totally. Yeah. Next question. I think it's Talia.sj is asked,  how do you guys individually fit prayer and Bible reading into your schedules? So great question.  I think it's less spiritual. I think when I was, when I first took a Christian,  I heavily overspiritualized this aspect of my life being like, I need to feel the Holy Spirit  whenever I'm going to read the Bible. And if I'm not reading the Bible, then I just pray more  like God, when you give me more hunger to read the Bible. And that's great. And continue doing that,  continue asking the Holy Spirit for His help. But also just be wise about it. Have some  smarts. If you know you're not a night person and you're a morning person, do it in the morning.  If you don't have a lot of time during the days, then you're not going to get it done in the day.  So if you have a desire to fit Bible reading, to fit prayer into your life, think about it  practically. How would you go about fitting an extra 40 minutes of exercise in your life? You  schedule it in. You make an appointment. You meet that appointment and you keep that discipline,  right? It's good. It's a discipline like any other. But the thing that sets it apart from  any other discipline is that it has an effect more than just physically. It has like an internal  effect as well. For me, I have been parts of like Bible reading groups where we commit to read  passages every single day. And that keeps me accountable. But then I also have a moment of the day  in the mornings where I read the Bible and I spend time with God. And I know that if I don't do it  in the mornings, I won't do it during the day because my days get very busy. It's good.  That's my case sense. I think it's a discipline. Absolutely. It's a discipline like you said,  Matthias. It's something that you have to factor in in your day. And I was reading, I'm currently  going through Jackie Hill Perry's devotional book. I can't remember the name of it. But I would  really recommend it. It's a good one. I'm sure you could find it somewhere. It's a 60 day devotional.  And she sort of mentioned how Jesus, obviously, he says he's a daily bread. It's a daily thing.  Like you need him daily. As much as I like it, when you wake up in the morning, you're like, okay,  wait, my body feels hungry. You need that physical sustenance. It's the same with our souls. You need  that spiritual pouring into. You need that spiritual food. And that is reading your Bible and spending  time with Jesus. So you don't want to be going around like a skeleton, like spiritually, like a,  like, walking around like a spiritual skeleton, but then your body, like physical bodies,  well nourished. You want them to come inside, be the same.  There's then you know, I wake up early every day and I have to get to school because I have to  go far away. And then when I'm at school, I'm in class all day and I want to get back from class  and go into training. Then after training, I've got to do my homework. Like how do you fit a  spiritual life in that type of busy life? And for like we often think that our spiritual life is  separate to the life that we're living. Like, oh, okay, I have my Christian thing over here.  Like I go to church, I read the Bible here, but then also like, then I've got school over here  and I've got my family over here and all that stuff. But actually like Jesus wants to be part of  every single part of your life. Like it's not segmented. It's actually works together in harmony.  And so like, even for me personally, this year I've been reading a lot about what does it mean  to be a disciple? What does it mean to like fast pray and like all the different disciplines?  I guess we should say also find it interesting that disciple and discipline have the same root  word. Also very interesting. Or come from like a similar one, which tells me that like there's  a level of discipline that's required to walk out in discipleship. But also one of the things that  I was thinking this year is like, I think the Christian walk is more like a rhythm. Yeah.  Kind of nerding out a little bit. But John Mark Kramer has this book called Reflister Lim-  No, not that one. What's it called? What's it called? That's it. Thank you.  John Mark Kramer has this book called Practicing the Way. And a lot of people  told me to read it. And when I read it, I did, I personally like kind of found it a little bit  jarring and wrestled with like the, there was a lot of talk about the practicing and the like  apprenticeship side of being a disciple. I'm using really fancy language. I'm going crazy.  But like the working in the faith, like the doing, doing, doing things. But I felt like, okay,  I feel like this is a little bit in balance because I feel like, yeah, I need to read my Bible,  but also I think there's like a rhythm to walking out your relationship with Jesus.  You read the Bible, you pray, you worship him. But everything is like an outward expression  of internal worship. Reading the Bible is, I want to read the Bible because I love Jesus.  I want to pray because I love Jesus. It always comes from the loving Jesus  than you do the things after. And that might change season to season. In some seasons,  the Bible just has my attention more. In other seasons, my praying with God is the thing that  keeps me alive. In other seasons, like worship music is like my life support, like I need that.  So I think rather than focusing on like, oh, no, if I haven't read my Bible, stay on my failure.  But like you can connect with God in so many other ways as well. And like, I'm not saying reading  the Bible is less important or praying is less important. But I think listen to the rhythm of your  relationship with God and what works for you because what works for me isn't, isn't going to work  for you. Mateus and isn't going to work for Michelle. Like what, what's feeding me right now?  Might not be feeding you right now, but we're still getting fed just in different ways.  So that's what I would say. I'm still figuring that. Yeah. And what's beautiful about what you're  saying is that it ebbs and flows through seasons. Yeah. It doesn't stay the same in like the whole  time of your lifetime. That makes sense. Like there's going to be seasons the way things are just  going to feel dry and worship music is the one thing that's going to like, it feels like a  sustaining you and like you feel drawn closer to the Lord and you feel as present and as voice  closer there. And ultimately, all of it, like God uses those seasons to draw him closer to his  heart. He is just into deeper intimacy with him. You know, each, each season is to make a stronger  and to grow as and pull things out of us that we might have not known were inners to ultimately  makers who were meant to be like, yeah, process and the journey of sanctification. Which is beautiful.  Deep, deep. Next, next question. I often feel like an imposter at church as someone who struggles  with dowsing faith, any advice. That was said by sent by Tink SSO underscore. So thanks for the queue.  Thanks for the question. I think so. I think this is so raw. Yeah. I have definitely felt like this.  But at Bible study, especially when like, like, let's say like, oh, everyone's sharing like praise  reports for that week. And like, oh, God, it's done. This is so good. God is done. This is so good.  And I've had like a terrible week. Like, I just don't relate to that right now. But then that doesn't  that doesn't mean I have no right to be in the room. Does it mean like I'm any less of a believer?  Because I just don't feel that right now. I'm doubting like, how can God be good if this stuff  happens? Like, I'm not doubting God's existence. I'm just wrestling my faith. And I think it's okay  to wrestle your faith. And it's okay to have that one of my friends always says that you can't  have that without having faith like there. Two sides of the same coin. And like you having both  is a healthy wrestle. Yeah. And I just think that's so, yeah, it's very affirming.  Because in the Bible, people wrestled with God as well and had doubts.  Take a wrestled with God literally as well. Yeah, wrestles with God. Yes. Yeah. That's what I'd say.  Anything else? I think I think for me, very like very recently, I was having just a  pretty crappy day, pretty crappy couple of weeks. And  it Sunday came, this was lit, this was Easter Sunday. Sunday came and I really didn't want to go to  church. But I felt God telling me to go and just sit there. Because I was at that moment,  I found it really difficult to feel God close. And sometimes we do. That's the case.  I found it really difficult to engage with him in worship. And I felt he'd been saying just like,  go sit in church almost like, did you guys ever have those moments where you're kind of having a  crappy day? Always. And you know, every night. But then you go in the shower and you just kind of  just sit in the, you just stand there in the shower and let the water just run out of you.  You don't really do anything. You just kind of just stand there and you just contemplate  and you just think. And I kind of felt like that when I was at church, you know, I was there.  And I wasn't necessarily engaging with the worship or connecting very specifically with the message.  But I kind of just felt like I was there and it's almost like me just standing in the shower.  And God just like, just washing over me. And I feel like when we're going through doubts or when  we're going through struggles. And we feel as if like we're not fitting in because everyone  else around us seems to be all capy, capy Christians. And we just don't relate to that.  I say, my encouragement to you would be, would say first to say that actually, that's also a part  of our faith walk. As you said, that was part of our faith walk. And the second encouragement for me  for you is other people are going through that at church. So do be open about that because you can  actually start a good conversation about questions and different challenges. And then the third one  it would be mate. Even though it's easier said and done, address those questions, but keep  going to the places where God is, right? He's everywhere, but he specifically manifests himself  in community. So keep putting yourself in community, keep seeking wise people around you,  putting wise people around you, and keep seeking God as in like it's a part of our faith walk.  And so don't be discouraged by it. Yeah. God is still with you. Yeah. On the back of that it's  really good point to us about keeping community around you. Don't isolate yourself in these  moments because it's easy to and it might feel like this is the only like only thing that makes me  feel okay is by being by myself. And that's often a dangerous place to be. Obviously, it's okay  good. It's fine to like have solitary moments, but don't stay there because we're actually meant  for community. We're actually meant to build each other up in seasons like this. So you're not alone  and it's almost like I want to encourage you to try find somebody. Doesn't have to be a group  of people. It can just be one person that you feel like you can trust with your heart and actually  be honest, be like, I actually feel like this. I'm struggling and I'm doubting my faith right now.  I have these questions. Can you help me? And you know, sometimes even just letting that out and  telling somebody relieves a lot of pressure from yourself and we're meant to share each other's  burdens together. We're meant to share like we're meant to do life together. You know, so  I would say try find that one person that you feel like you can trust. That's older than you.  I can speak into your situation and pray for you and cover you and love a new June this time.  So yeah, bless your friend. Come on. Go eat all this is.  Next question. If you guys could go to one moment in the Bible to live in, where would you go  from Bromte under Scott's CC? I'd go to live. I just want to experience being on the boat  seeing Jesus walk on water, but I want to live in the time of acts. I was literally going to say that.  I could see and but also maybe like I just need to change my faith perspective and believe that I can see  those miracles today, right? I was literally going to say the same thing acts. I mean, Jesus,  when he resurrected, it was 40 days where he was revealing himself in miracles. Yeah, in miraculous  ways. I want to be there. We'd maybe die during if we lived during like followed these guys around.  We might have died. I mean, we could die anyway. Oh yeah, totally. Prosecution. Which one is it?  Persecution. Oh, same but different.  Dang, that's a really, really good question. I would say maybe when Jesus fed the 5,000, I would have  wanted to be one of the 5,000, but I actually would have wanted to be the little boy with the 5  loaves and two fish because it might just want to be the main character. Okay, don't expose me like  that. But no, but imagine like witnessing the 5 loaves and two fish that you have and like  back in that day, like the 5, the 5 loaves were like barley loaves. Like they weren't great bread.  It was like bread that was associated with like animals. Like imagine seeing stuff like that and  seeing Jesus take that and make buckets and baskets of food out of that with your own eyes.  Like that's crazy. Wow. I would have vlogged it. Stop. What is up guys? Stop. Oh my gosh.  And the person watching you would have been savory, kidding me. I would have gone alive like guys  do it. Guys, you all guess Jesus just said two. Like Jesus, we'll just have to say to the vlog.  All right, all right, all right. Wait, I was also going to say. Oh, wait, you got all I thought you  said no. I said, oh, I would love to be in the room when I don't know which Mary was, but Mary  that brought the alabaster jar. Jesus feet with her hair. I'd love to be in that woman.  Beautiful moment. Yeah. And smell the room. From Anna Pascolyus. Great. Pascolyus.  Well done. She asked, how do you deal with difficult questions from non-Christian friends?  Well, how do you deal with difficult questions? Non-Christian friends ask about faith.  Hmm. Come on. Be honest. And if you don't have an answer for it, say, I actually don't know about  this just yet. Good question. Good question. Let me just come back to you about that. But also,  reading your Bible comes handy for that. And asking other people questions and learning and  cleaning from others older wisdom. That's a good answer. And if you're like me, I love  actually just engaging with those questions by myself. Actually, like dealing with them. Like,  what are these difficult questions that we have faced with faith actually going out and  looking at finding the answers yourself? You know, there are lots of books and commentaries and  things like that online and you can ask your pastors or whatever. But I find it a lot of fun  dealing with them, like, and wrestling with these questions. I have them. And they're fine to have  yourself and your friends have them. And it's great that they have them. And so maybe you can do it  together, you know, maybe invite them to be like, I don't know, but maybe we can go look at it  together. Or maybe go to a Bible school or maybe you just become a pastor and then when you become  a pastor, you have all the answers. I would say I was actually talking in my church community about  this a couple months ago. And I was seeing how, like, what is the point of engaging in these  conversations? You know, is it to, um, for you to see what I see and for me to win you over? Or  is it for me to love you? Yeah. And I think sometimes we, we want to be the person that saves the person  or like wins over the argument. But actually, we're not cool to argue. You know, we're actually  cool to love people. And I was saying how, um, you know, if we just focus on following the greatest  teaching, which is to love the Lord, your God and love your neighbors, yourself, nothing will ever  rise into an argument because actually the point of this conversation isn't for you to see what I see.  It's for me to come and love you from a place of understanding for you to see the love of Jesus.  And so like, yeah, I would say approach it in love. That sounds so vague, but like approach it in  love. And also your role is not to win a, win a debate or win a argument. It's to love someone.  Yeah. Come on. Last question, because this timer is a run in out. Hey, favorite Christian song  at the moment by N's huges. Thanks. Thanks for giving that question to us by the way.  I've been, I've been rocking with, uh, with DC3. You guys know, I've been rocking with them, um,  I don't know if it's songs, but I've been listening to them on my runs. So it's been good.  Um, my church has really been loving. I know a name by elevation recently. It's just wow,  dead, dead things come alive. Dead things come alive. Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus.  Like we love singing that. Um, yeah, so good. Another little more mellow or no, or maybe deep in  out. Mine is the wonder, the one for blood by Tiffany Hudson. Mm hmm.  Okay, right. Thank you guys so much for joining us. That will vocal flex there,  but crazy. So I go out, but guys, we really appreciate when you guys have this question.  Yeah. Love you all so much. them.\n\n17\n00:00:45.399 --> 00:00:47.399\n We're going to go through them now, actually, some new questions.\n\n18\n00:00:47.399 --> 00:00:51.399\n So stay tuned and let's see if you, your question got answered.\n\n19\n00:00:51.399 --> 00:00:58.600\n Then, do you have any questions?\n\n20\n00:00:58.600 --> 00:01:00.600\n I do have the questions.\n\n21\n00:01:00.600 --> 00:01:03.799\n Also, first of all, thank you guys for actually submitting.\n\n22\n00:01:03.799 --> 00:01:04.799\n Sorry.\n\n23\n00:01:04.799 --> 00:01:05.599\n Thank you.\n\n24\n00:01:05.599 --> 00:01:06.599\n Questions.\n\n25\n00:01:06.599 --> 00:01:08.599\n I also wanted to add that we have a little sound timer here.\n\n26\n00:01:08.599 --> 00:01:10.599\n I think it's around half an hour.\n\n27\n00:01:10.599 --> 00:01:15.599\n Anyway, we just wanted to put this on and make sure we answer enough questions until the sound time ends.\n\n28\n00:01:15.599 --> 00:01:19.599\n The first question is, oh, thanks Michelle.\n\n29\n00:01:19.599 --> 00:01:20.599\n That's great.\n\n30\n00:01:20.600 --> 00:01:26.000\n The first question is, how is your creative process for making and recording videos?\n\n31\n00:01:26.000 --> 00:01:30.600\n And it's by FI3OM underscore.\n\n32\n00:01:30.600 --> 00:01:34.400\n So shout out to you for asking that question.\n\n33\n00:01:34.400 --> 00:01:37.400\n How is your creative process for making and recording videos?\n\n34\n00:01:37.400 --> 00:01:38.400\n It's a question for you two.\n\n35\n00:01:38.400 --> 00:01:43.800\n These two are the creative backbones of this platform.\n\n36\n00:01:43.800 --> 00:01:47.600\n No, but really, you guys are, you do a lot of creative work here, along with other people.\n\n37\n00:01:47.600 --> 00:01:49.400\n But what do you think?\n\n38\n00:01:50.400 --> 00:01:56.600\n Well, I think it helps that we have a lot of writing days as a team.\n\n39\n00:01:56.600 --> 00:02:01.800\n So we have every Tuesday we come together and we actually write out a lot of our stuff,\n\n40\n00:02:01.800 --> 00:02:06.800\n like the acting videos that we put on our Instagram and TikTok that people love.\n\n41\n00:02:06.800 --> 00:02:08.800\n Like, yes, we script those.\n\n42\n00:02:08.800 --> 00:02:12.800\n And we sit as a team and we come up with, like, short lists and we do all this stuff.\n\n43\n00:02:12.800 --> 00:02:16.800\n Because we actually want to be intentional with the content that we make.\n\n44\n00:02:16.800 --> 00:02:17.800\n So good.\n\n45\n00:02:17.800 --> 00:02:22.200\n We also want to be, like, one of our core values that the way team is being spirit led.\n\n46\n00:02:22.200 --> 00:02:26.800\n And we want to give, like, enough time for the Lord to speak to us and to direct us for us to go,\n\n47\n00:02:26.800 --> 00:02:27.800\n oh, that's sick.\n\n48\n00:02:27.800 --> 00:02:30.400\n That could be God, like, oh, we really like this idea.\n\n49\n00:02:30.400 --> 00:02:31.400\n Okay, let's run with it.\n\n50\n00:02:31.400 --> 00:02:33.200\n How do we honor that and give time to it?\n\n51\n00:02:33.200 --> 00:02:39.600\n So, yeah, having days to plan and also having days to film and not just being like,\n\n52\n00:02:39.600 --> 00:02:41.600\n oh, it will take five minutes, but blocking out enough time.\n\n53\n00:02:41.600 --> 00:02:42.600\n Yeah.\n\n54\n00:02:42.600 --> 00:02:45.600\n So that if we go over core, if we are under core.\n\n55\n00:02:45.599 --> 00:02:46.599\n Yeah.\n\n56\n00:02:46.599 --> 00:02:50.199\n It's like allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in our ideas that we have.\n\n57\n00:02:50.199 --> 00:02:56.199\n And being able to, like, I think what a blessing is, I mean, one of the biggest blessings\n\n58\n00:02:56.199 --> 00:03:02.000\n that I, like, reflect on a lot is when we come together and we write, we might come up with\n\n59\n00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:06.400\n an idea and one person might be like, oh, wait, okay, maybe we could shoot this in this\n\n60\n00:03:06.400 --> 00:03:07.400\n way.\n\n61\n00:03:07.400 --> 00:03:13.199\n Maybe we could get an angle like this, like finding really creative, cool ways, like new ideas,\n\n62\n00:03:13.200 --> 00:03:18.120\n and new ways of being able to tell a story that, you know, we might actually personally\n\n63\n00:03:18.120 --> 00:03:22.480\n go through, you know, I mean, recently we filmed something about like, I mean, hopefully\n\n64\n00:03:22.480 --> 00:03:26.720\n it might already be out by now, but like a friend, like, going to a party, feeling overwhelmed,\n\n65\n00:03:26.720 --> 00:03:31.080\n you know, we were filming that at my house and like, just taking moments like that and\n\n66\n00:03:31.080 --> 00:03:37.360\n like real life moments that might happen and bringing them in into our world and like,\n\n67\n00:03:37.360 --> 00:03:40.140\n maybe I might add a little bit later about that.\n\n68\n00:03:40.140 --> 00:03:41.140\n Wow.\n\n69\n00:03:41.140 --> 00:03:42.140\n We missed.\n\n70\n00:03:42.140 --> 00:03:43.800\n It's the remurx.\n\n71\n00:03:43.800 --> 00:03:50.180\n Yeah, I'm translating it, writing it into a wonderful script for you guys to watch and\n\n72\n00:03:50.180 --> 00:03:55.540\n relate to, and feel seen in as well because we all go through and we're not alone in this\n\n73\n00:03:55.540 --> 00:03:56.620\n Christian walk.\n\n74\n00:03:56.620 --> 00:03:57.620\n Mhm.\n\n75\n00:03:57.620 --> 00:03:58.620\n Yeah.\n\n76\n00:03:58.620 --> 00:04:01.760\n And I think it's good to also mention that it's like a team effort.\n\n77\n00:04:01.760 --> 00:04:06.540\n So as much as it's like, you've got people on camera that are like creative with their\n\n78\n00:04:06.539 --> 00:04:10.859\n acting or creative with like how they want to say certain lines. There's also a team of people\n\n79\n00:04:10.859 --> 00:04:15.099\n behind the scenes that are creative with like a which shot are we going to use and like how do we\n\n80\n00:04:15.099 --> 00:04:18.939\n use the lighting to create feeling. And even Michelle you're really good at this too like when\n\n81\n00:04:18.939 --> 00:04:23.980\n you write scripts you're very like you can see it on paper but you can also see how it looks\n\n82\n00:04:23.980 --> 00:04:28.620\n and like you understand how to put the language down to create shot lists. But like we all play\n\n83\n00:04:28.620 --> 00:04:33.500\n to our own like strengths and stuff which actually helps as a team because then it's not all\n\n84\n00:04:33.500 --> 00:04:39.500\n on one person. Yeah and it sort of like alleviates the pressure for one person to have all the ideas\n\n85\n00:04:39.500 --> 00:04:45.100\n all the shot lists everything. And that's what I love about every single person within a team.\n\n86\n00:04:45.100 --> 00:04:49.579\n They have strengths that they get yet to bring together and as we do that we build something\n\n87\n00:04:49.579 --> 00:04:54.300\n that's beautiful and we post it. It's almost like I gotta look at this as a little baby.\n\n88\n00:04:55.180 --> 00:05:00.860\n It's a question then. It's a question then. Well on the back of that, a question by\n\n89\n00:05:00.860 --> 00:05:06.220\n Spanish curves four, she asked, do you guys ever have creative disagreements?\n\n90\n00:05:07.100 --> 00:05:11.259\n Yes. And how do you deal with them then? We fight to the death. I'm joking.\n\n91\n00:05:14.939 --> 00:05:17.420\n We have a straw picking system.\n\n92\n00:05:18.300 --> 00:05:27.660\n I'll say. That's wild. No, I think. Oh, just joking. Easter egg. What are the phrases that we\n\n93\n00:05:27.740 --> 00:05:33.100\n have as a team? And to be honest, there were days the real phrasing for this, but it's no idea is a\n\n94\n00:05:33.100 --> 00:05:41.420\n bad idea if it leads to insert whatever. It leads to the good idea. The main idea. The way we use\n\n95\n00:05:41.420 --> 00:05:46.140\n or whatever. But I think us having that as something that we might joke about but actually\n\n96\n00:05:46.140 --> 00:05:52.540\n is quite serious to us like no one idea is bad. But we welcome all ideas if it leads to like,\n\n97\n00:05:52.540 --> 00:05:57.580\n oh, that's the one we're going to run with or like, you know. So I think we actually welcome\n\n98\n00:05:57.580 --> 00:06:02.060\n difference because we know that it will lead to somewhere that ultimately will be the thing that\n\n99\n00:06:02.060 --> 00:06:07.900\n we end up doing. And I think we ultimately trust each other enough to run with an idea of\n\n100\n00:06:07.900 --> 00:06:12.780\n something else isn't like really hitting it in the moment. Yeah. Because we know like, oh no,\n\n101\n00:06:12.780 --> 00:06:16.379\n wait, actually what you say. I know it's going to come out pretty good if we just follow with what\n\n102\n00:06:16.379 --> 00:06:22.220\n you like what you're saying. And I love that about our team. We trust each other in what we do.\n\n103\n00:06:22.220 --> 00:06:30.300\n So it's great. We disagree, how to leave. disagree, agreeably. Yeah. Stealing from another podcast\n\n104\n00:06:30.300 --> 00:06:35.180\n there if you know. I'm making what that means, but keep not having a clue. What I do have is another\n\n105\n00:06:35.180 --> 00:06:40.220\n question. No question is a bad question if it leads to the next question. And the next question\n\n106\n00:06:41.020 --> 00:06:46.860\n is what to look for in a partner as a Christian and this is from Jesus loves are you?\n\n107\n00:06:46.860 --> 00:06:50.780\n Mate, juicy question. Okay, we want to get my taste because the taste is gay marriage.\n\n108\n00:06:50.780 --> 00:06:57.980\n Because I am the only relationships expert. Yes, certified. He's got the credentials.\n\n109\n00:06:57.980 --> 00:07:04.699\n We've got some giggles off of Cam. We've got married men behind the camera. They're all doing this.\n\n110\n00:07:04.699 --> 00:07:08.699\n Who knows by the time this comes out, you might be a married man. No, you're probably well, bro.\n\n111\n00:07:08.699 --> 00:07:14.780\n Um, I heard a pastor say one time that when you're looking for a partner, the first thing you need\n\n112\n00:07:14.780 --> 00:07:20.860\n to look at is Jesus and you start running and you run and you run and you run as fast you can\n\n113\n00:07:20.860 --> 00:07:25.180\n towards Jesus and then you stop and you look around you and you keep running and you look at Jesus\n\n114\n00:07:25.180 --> 00:07:29.980\n and you run and you run and you run and you stop and you look around just you and see and you look\n\n115\n00:07:29.980 --> 00:07:35.740\n to see who is there with you. So you run as fast as you can towards Jesus and then look around\n\n116\n00:07:35.740 --> 00:07:41.100\n and see who is there with you because ultimately whoever you're going to be in a relationship with,\n\n117\n00:07:41.100 --> 00:07:47.660\n you want them to be pushing you closer to Jesus. Um, one of the things that I sometimes I see\n\n118\n00:07:47.660 --> 00:07:53.180\n in certain Christian relationships and again, guys, we're not relationship experts and I'm a\n\n119\n00:07:53.180 --> 00:08:02.060\n young, young boy, young buck. So take what I say. I'm not an expert. But I see young Christians and\n\n120\n00:08:02.060 --> 00:08:06.379\n they're like, they're almost like discipling their partner or their girlfriend or their boyfriend.\n\n121\n00:08:07.259 --> 00:08:11.019\n I don't think that's what we need to be doing in our relationships. We're not meant to be\n\n122\n00:08:11.019 --> 00:08:15.659\n discipling that person. We can be discipling people, but in that relationship we want to be pushing\n\n123\n00:08:15.659 --> 00:08:22.219\n each other closer to Jesus. And I'm figuring that out. Hopefully I can continue to push my fiance\n\n124\n00:08:22.219 --> 00:08:27.019\n closer to Jesus and she definitely pushes me closer to Jesus. But that's ultimately what we want\n\n125\n00:08:27.019 --> 00:08:32.460\n to look for. Someone that is pushing us closer to Jesus and not someone that is that we need to be\n\n126\n00:08:32.460 --> 00:08:39.180\n pulling constantly. I love that. Close to Jesus. But again, I'm figuring it out, figuring it out\n\n127\n00:08:40.780 --> 00:08:45.500\n and I'll continue to be figuring it out. So there's not like a... This is what you should look for,\n\n128\n00:08:45.500 --> 00:08:53.980\n yeah. Yeah. Anything out to add, then you? I think, like what's it for in our partner? I think\n\n129\n00:08:53.980 --> 00:08:58.379\n also looking for someone you can have fun with. Yeah. I think like... I don't believe in that.\n\n130\n00:08:58.460 --> 00:09:05.740\n You don't believe in fun? No. Okay. Well, I think sometimes we make dating seem like this\n\n131\n00:09:05.740 --> 00:09:11.100\n like really serious thing and stuff, but like you're looking for a life partner like someone to do\n\n132\n00:09:11.100 --> 00:09:16.220\n forever with. Forever will be really boring if you have no fun. So I think that looking for somebody\n\n133\n00:09:16.220 --> 00:09:21.179\n that you can actually have a laugh with, like do things that you guys enjoy together, like there's\n\n134\n00:09:21.179 --> 00:09:27.259\n joy to be found in relationship and it doesn't have to be all serious. That's what I would say.\n\n135\n00:09:27.259 --> 00:09:32.299\n Yeah, I think one thing I would say would be like you don't have to have to look for somebody\n\n136\n00:09:32.299 --> 00:09:39.340\n that has the exact same, you know, interests as you as well, you know, shake it up a little.\n\n137\n00:09:39.340 --> 00:09:43.980\n You can like something else and you can like something else and you can both enjoy it separately.\n\n138\n00:09:43.980 --> 00:09:50.059\n You don't have to, but you can have fun equally. I don't know if that was a good point. Next question.\n\n139\n00:09:50.060 --> 00:09:56.860\n We have a question on that because I know like a lot of people say to look for like potential\n\n140\n00:09:56.860 --> 00:10:01.740\n in somebody like the person that you meet, like when you guys meet, you're not going to be the same\n\n141\n00:10:01.740 --> 00:10:06.780\n like five, 10, 15 years down the line, like you're constantly evolving, you're constantly changing.\n\n142\n00:10:06.780 --> 00:10:12.940\n But like when we say like look at potential, what does that mean? Like does that mean? Do you know\n\n143\n00:10:12.940 --> 00:10:15.980\n I mean, like how do you, how do you weigh what potential is? Because then it goes to like the\n\n144\n00:10:15.980 --> 00:10:21.100\n discipleship thing of like I don't want to feel like I have to disciple you so that you can reach\n\n145\n00:10:21.100 --> 00:10:25.659\n your potential. But at the same time, like I want to be able to see somebody that I spot something\n\n146\n00:10:25.659 --> 00:10:29.259\n in and I'm like, oh wow, like God's going to grow that thing. And like how I want to be\n\n147\n00:10:29.259 --> 00:10:32.700\n along to see that great. Well, that makes sense. I think that comes down to correct me from\n\n148\n00:10:32.700 --> 00:10:37.659\n wrong here in my taste. But I think it comes to like being equally old if we come back to that.\n\n149\n00:10:37.659 --> 00:10:44.139\n Like you want somebody that has the same values as you as a Christian who believes in what the\n\n150\n00:10:44.139 --> 00:10:50.059\n Bible says and is spirit led. And you don't want somebody to be like you say you don't want to be\n\n151\n00:10:50.059 --> 00:10:55.419\n like almost like you're discipling your like fiance or the person that you're going to\n\n152\n00:10:56.379 --> 00:11:01.340\n get married to. You kind of want to equally be running alongside each other. Because if you think\n\n153\n00:11:01.340 --> 00:11:07.580\n of a like a yolk, they used to put two like similar sized oxen together to be able to run it.\n\n154\n00:11:07.580 --> 00:11:13.980\n Unless it doesn't like, it doesn't move properly and function properly to like cut the ground if\n\n155\n00:11:13.980 --> 00:11:19.420\n that makes sense. So you want to see that in your partner. But what was the question that you're\n\n156\n00:11:19.420 --> 00:11:22.220\n saying again? What was that about that potential? Potential? Potential?\n\n157\n00:11:22.220 --> 00:11:26.540\n Potential? Potential and similar. I think like I think sometimes girls, I'm just obviously\n\n158\n00:11:26.540 --> 00:11:33.660\n because I'm going to speak for my perspective. But I think girls can look at guys and think\n\n159\n00:11:33.740 --> 00:11:38.699\n on a way he's not there yet. Like I'm not going to like, I don't want to even like give him a chance.\n\n160\n00:11:40.459 --> 00:11:44.699\n And the thing is you're not actually going to be married, you're not going to be married to the\n\n161\n00:11:44.699 --> 00:11:49.500\n same person that you're going to be married to on your like your wedding day because we evolve,\n\n162\n00:11:49.500 --> 00:11:55.419\n we change, we grow. So ultimately you're going to be going to somebody somebody like more of yourself\n\n163\n00:11:55.419 --> 00:12:02.939\n if that makes sense. So I think don't be so picky in that sense. Obviously like it's good to have\n\n164\n00:12:02.940 --> 00:12:10.620\n your standards, but we're not perfect. Right now, I don't have a lot of facial hair.\n\n165\n00:12:12.140 --> 00:12:19.100\n But in five, 10 years time, I'm going to have the lunchua's beard growing down.\n\n166\n00:12:19.100 --> 00:12:24.860\n Right. It's a sign of wisdom. Right. I don't know. You just got to be able to see the golden\n\n167\n00:12:24.860 --> 00:12:30.380\n people. Sometimes they don't have the gold to show. But they have a lot of potential. I guess\n\n168\n00:12:30.379 --> 00:12:35.500\n potential is a self-explanatory. You know, they're not there yet, but they're going. They're on\n\n169\n00:12:35.500 --> 00:12:39.899\n the direction. Yeah. It's all about you. I don't know. Good question though. You see,\n\n170\n00:12:39.899 --> 00:12:44.379\n you want to be looking at people where they are now and also what God is doing in their lives.\n\n171\n00:12:45.740 --> 00:12:51.500\n Where they're going. And I think ultimately like Jesus says, you want to know them by their fruit.\n\n172\n00:12:51.500 --> 00:12:56.860\n So good. And I think I wouldn't say to ignore where somebody is in light of where you wish they\n\n173\n00:12:56.860 --> 00:13:02.779\n where they can be. But I would also, I would say, look up where they are now and look at the fruit\n\n174\n00:13:02.779 --> 00:13:08.060\n of that. Because fruit will just continue to bear more fruit. So if there's already fruit now,\n\n175\n00:13:08.060 --> 00:13:16.220\n then great. More fruits coming. But if there's no fruit right now, then yeah, for certain things,\n\n176\n00:13:16.220 --> 00:13:20.379\n I would say, yeah, that's probably not where you want to be. That's what I would say. I'm still\n\n177\n00:13:20.379 --> 00:13:29.659\n figuring this out as well. Yeah. Totally. Yeah. Next question. I think it's Talia.sj is asked,\n\n178\n00:13:29.659 --> 00:13:36.139\n how do you guys individually fit prayer and Bible reading into your schedules? So great question.\n\n179\n00:13:37.500 --> 00:13:41.259\n I think it's less spiritual. I think when I was, when I first took a Christian,\n\n180\n00:13:42.059 --> 00:13:47.899\n I heavily overspiritualized this aspect of my life being like, I need to feel the Holy Spirit\n\n181\n00:13:47.980 --> 00:13:53.899\n whenever I'm going to read the Bible. And if I'm not reading the Bible, then I just pray more\n\n182\n00:13:53.899 --> 00:13:59.259\n like God, when you give me more hunger to read the Bible. And that's great. And continue doing that,\n\n183\n00:13:59.259 --> 00:14:05.019\n continue asking the Holy Spirit for His help. But also just be wise about it. Have some\n\n184\n00:14:05.019 --> 00:14:09.740\n smarts. If you know you're not a night person and you're a morning person, do it in the morning.\n\n185\n00:14:10.299 --> 00:14:14.620\n If you don't have a lot of time during the days, then you're not going to get it done in the day.\n\n186\n00:14:14.700 --> 00:14:19.179\n So if you have a desire to fit Bible reading, to fit prayer into your life, think about it\n\n187\n00:14:19.179 --> 00:14:25.100\n practically. How would you go about fitting an extra 40 minutes of exercise in your life? You\n\n188\n00:14:25.100 --> 00:14:30.299\n schedule it in. You make an appointment. You meet that appointment and you keep that discipline,\n\n189\n00:14:30.299 --> 00:14:35.740\n right? It's good. It's a discipline like any other. But the thing that sets it apart from\n\n190\n00:14:35.740 --> 00:14:42.379\n any other discipline is that it has an effect more than just physically. It has like an internal\n\n191\n00:14:42.939 --> 00:14:50.620\n effect as well. For me, I have been parts of like Bible reading groups where we commit to read\n\n192\n00:14:50.620 --> 00:14:57.100\n passages every single day. And that keeps me accountable. But then I also have a moment of the day\n\n193\n00:14:57.100 --> 00:15:01.259\n in the mornings where I read the Bible and I spend time with God. And I know that if I don't do it\n\n194\n00:15:01.259 --> 00:15:06.379\n in the mornings, I won't do it during the day because my days get very busy. It's good.\n\n195\n00:15:06.379 --> 00:15:12.539\n That's my case sense. I think it's a discipline. Absolutely. It's a discipline like you said,\n\n196\n00:15:12.539 --> 00:15:19.340\n Matthias. It's something that you have to factor in in your day. And I was reading, I'm currently\n\n197\n00:15:19.340 --> 00:15:25.899\n going through Jackie Hill Perry's devotional book. I can't remember the name of it. But I would\n\n198\n00:15:25.899 --> 00:15:32.059\n really recommend it. It's a good one. I'm sure you could find it somewhere. It's a 60 day devotional.\n\n199\n00:15:32.140 --> 00:15:38.860\n And she sort of mentioned how Jesus, obviously, he says he's a daily bread. It's a daily thing.\n\n200\n00:15:38.860 --> 00:15:43.100\n Like you need him daily. As much as I like it, when you wake up in the morning, you're like, okay,\n\n201\n00:15:43.100 --> 00:15:49.660\n wait, my body feels hungry. You need that physical sustenance. It's the same with our souls. You need\n\n202\n00:15:49.660 --> 00:15:57.500\n that spiritual pouring into. You need that spiritual food. And that is reading your Bible and spending\n\n203\n00:15:57.500 --> 00:16:03.100\n time with Jesus. So you don't want to be going around like a skeleton, like spiritually, like a,\n\n204\n00:16:05.259 --> 00:16:09.580\n like, walking around like a spiritual skeleton, but then your body, like physical bodies,\n\n205\n00:16:09.580 --> 00:16:14.620\n well nourished. You want them to come inside, be the same.\n\n206\n00:16:16.379 --> 00:16:22.059\n There's then you know, I wake up early every day and I have to get to school because I have to\n\n207\n00:16:22.059 --> 00:16:26.220\n go far away. And then when I'm at school, I'm in class all day and I want to get back from class\n\n208\n00:16:26.220 --> 00:16:31.820\n and go into training. Then after training, I've got to do my homework. Like how do you fit a\n\n209\n00:16:31.820 --> 00:16:37.340\n spiritual life in that type of busy life? And for like we often think that our spiritual life is\n\n210\n00:16:37.340 --> 00:16:41.740\n separate to the life that we're living. Like, oh, okay, I have my Christian thing over here.\n\n211\n00:16:41.740 --> 00:16:45.899\n Like I go to church, I read the Bible here, but then also like, then I've got school over here\n\n212\n00:16:45.899 --> 00:16:50.300\n and I've got my family over here and all that stuff. But actually like Jesus wants to be part of\n\n213\n00:16:50.300 --> 00:16:55.580\n every single part of your life. Like it's not segmented. It's actually works together in harmony.\n\n214\n00:16:55.580 --> 00:17:00.220\n And so like, even for me personally, this year I've been reading a lot about what does it mean\n\n215\n00:17:00.220 --> 00:17:05.819\n to be a disciple? What does it mean to like fast pray and like all the different disciplines?\n\n216\n00:17:05.819 --> 00:17:09.740\n I guess we should say also find it interesting that disciple and discipline have the same root\n\n217\n00:17:09.740 --> 00:17:14.779\n word. Also very interesting. Or come from like a similar one, which tells me that like there's\n\n218\n00:17:14.779 --> 00:17:21.579\n a level of discipline that's required to walk out in discipleship. But also one of the things that\n\n219\n00:17:21.740 --> 00:17:27.019\n I was thinking this year is like, I think the Christian walk is more like a rhythm. Yeah.\n\n220\n00:17:28.539 --> 00:17:33.179\n Kind of nerding out a little bit. But John Mark Kramer has this book called Reflister Lim-\n\n221\n00:17:33.179 --> 00:17:37.899\n No, not that one. What's it called? What's it called? That's it. Thank you.\n\n222\n00:17:37.899 --> 00:17:41.740\n John Mark Kramer has this book called Practicing the Way. And a lot of people\n\n223\n00:17:41.740 --> 00:17:46.220\n told me to read it. And when I read it, I did, I personally like kind of found it a little bit\n\n224\n00:17:46.220 --> 00:17:51.660\n jarring and wrestled with like the, there was a lot of talk about the practicing and the like\n\n225\n00:17:51.660 --> 00:17:55.500\n apprenticeship side of being a disciple. I'm using really fancy language. I'm going crazy.\n\n226\n00:17:55.500 --> 00:18:02.299\n But like the working in the faith, like the doing, doing, doing things. But I felt like, okay,\n\n227\n00:18:02.299 --> 00:18:06.460\n I feel like this is a little bit in balance because I feel like, yeah, I need to read my Bible,\n\n228\n00:18:06.460 --> 00:18:10.779\n but also I think there's like a rhythm to walking out your relationship with Jesus.\n\n229\n00:18:11.339 --> 00:18:18.859\n You read the Bible, you pray, you worship him. But everything is like an outward expression\n\n230\n00:18:18.859 --> 00:18:24.379\n of internal worship. Reading the Bible is, I want to read the Bible because I love Jesus.\n\n231\n00:18:24.379 --> 00:18:28.299\n I want to pray because I love Jesus. It always comes from the loving Jesus\n\n232\n00:18:28.299 --> 00:18:32.779\n than you do the things after. And that might change season to season. In some seasons,\n\n233\n00:18:32.779 --> 00:18:38.700\n the Bible just has my attention more. In other seasons, my praying with God is the thing that\n\n234\n00:18:38.779 --> 00:18:44.620\n keeps me alive. In other seasons, like worship music is like my life support, like I need that.\n\n235\n00:18:44.620 --> 00:18:49.180\n So I think rather than focusing on like, oh, no, if I haven't read my Bible, stay on my failure.\n\n236\n00:18:49.180 --> 00:18:53.500\n But like you can connect with God in so many other ways as well. And like, I'm not saying reading\n\n237\n00:18:53.500 --> 00:18:57.740\n the Bible is less important or praying is less important. But I think listen to the rhythm of your\n\n238\n00:18:57.740 --> 00:19:02.940\n relationship with God and what works for you because what works for me isn't, isn't going to work\n\n239\n00:19:02.940 --> 00:19:06.860\n for you. Mateus and isn't going to work for Michelle. Like what, what's feeding me right now?\n\n240\n00:19:06.860 --> 00:19:10.300\n Might not be feeding you right now, but we're still getting fed just in different ways.\n\n241\n00:19:10.300 --> 00:19:14.060\n So that's what I would say. I'm still figuring that. Yeah. And what's beautiful about what you're\n\n242\n00:19:14.060 --> 00:19:19.900\n saying is that it ebbs and flows through seasons. Yeah. It doesn't stay the same in like the whole\n\n243\n00:19:19.900 --> 00:19:25.340\n time of your lifetime. That makes sense. Like there's going to be seasons the way things are just\n\n244\n00:19:25.340 --> 00:19:29.740\n going to feel dry and worship music is the one thing that's going to like, it feels like a\n\n245\n00:19:29.740 --> 00:19:35.580\n sustaining you and like you feel drawn closer to the Lord and you feel as present and as voice\n\n246\n00:19:35.579 --> 00:19:41.500\n closer there. And ultimately, all of it, like God uses those seasons to draw him closer to his\n\n247\n00:19:41.500 --> 00:19:49.659\n heart. He is just into deeper intimacy with him. You know, each, each season is to make a stronger\n\n248\n00:19:49.659 --> 00:19:55.419\n and to grow as and pull things out of us that we might have not known were inners to ultimately\n\n249\n00:19:55.419 --> 00:20:02.059\n makers who were meant to be like, yeah, process and the journey of sanctification. Which is beautiful.\n\n250\n00:20:02.059 --> 00:20:09.740\n Deep, deep. Next, next question. I often feel like an imposter at church as someone who struggles\n\n251\n00:20:09.740 --> 00:20:18.940\n with dowsing faith, any advice. That was said by sent by Tink SSO underscore. So thanks for the queue.\n\n252\n00:20:18.940 --> 00:20:26.700\n Thanks for the question. I think so. I think this is so raw. Yeah. I have definitely felt like this.\n\n253\n00:20:27.420 --> 00:20:34.620\n But at Bible study, especially when like, like, let's say like, oh, everyone's sharing like praise\n\n254\n00:20:34.620 --> 00:20:37.900\n reports for that week. And like, oh, God, it's done. This is so good. God is done. This is so good.\n\n255\n00:20:37.900 --> 00:20:43.019\n And I've had like a terrible week. Like, I just don't relate to that right now. But then that doesn't\n\n256\n00:20:43.019 --> 00:20:47.660\n that doesn't mean I have no right to be in the room. Does it mean like I'm any less of a believer?\n\n257\n00:20:47.660 --> 00:20:52.860\n Because I just don't feel that right now. I'm doubting like, how can God be good if this stuff\n\n258\n00:20:52.860 --> 00:20:57.980\n happens? Like, I'm not doubting God's existence. I'm just wrestling my faith. And I think it's okay\n\n259\n00:20:57.980 --> 00:21:03.180\n to wrestle your faith. And it's okay to have that one of my friends always says that you can't\n\n260\n00:21:03.180 --> 00:21:08.540\n have that without having faith like there. Two sides of the same coin. And like you having both\n\n261\n00:21:08.540 --> 00:21:15.180\n is a healthy wrestle. Yeah. And I just think that's so, yeah, it's very affirming.\n\n262\n00:21:15.980 --> 00:21:18.620\n Because in the Bible, people wrestled with God as well and had doubts.\n\n263\n00:21:18.620 --> 00:21:25.100\n Take a wrestled with God literally as well. Yeah, wrestles with God. Yes. Yeah. That's what I'd say.\n\n264\n00:21:25.100 --> 00:21:30.540\n Anything else? I think I think for me, very like very recently, I was having just a\n\n265\n00:21:31.580 --> 00:21:35.020\n pretty crappy day, pretty crappy couple of weeks. And\n\n266\n00:21:36.460 --> 00:21:41.980\n it Sunday came, this was lit, this was Easter Sunday. Sunday came and I really didn't want to go to\n\n267\n00:21:41.980 --> 00:21:48.539\n church. But I felt God telling me to go and just sit there. Because I was at that moment,\n\n268\n00:21:48.539 --> 00:21:53.500\n I found it really difficult to feel God close. And sometimes we do. That's the case.\n\n269\n00:21:53.500 --> 00:21:56.940\n I found it really difficult to engage with him in worship. And I felt he'd been saying just like,\n\n270\n00:21:56.940 --> 00:22:01.259\n go sit in church almost like, did you guys ever have those moments where you're kind of having a\n\n271\n00:22:01.259 --> 00:22:06.460\n crappy day? Always. And you know, every night. But then you go in the shower and you just kind of\n\n272\n00:22:06.460 --> 00:22:10.940\n just sit in the, you just stand there in the shower and let the water just run out of you.\n\n273\n00:22:10.940 --> 00:22:15.100\n You don't really do anything. You just kind of just stand there and you just contemplate\n\n274\n00:22:15.100 --> 00:22:18.620\n and you just think. And I kind of felt like that when I was at church, you know, I was there.\n\n275\n00:22:18.620 --> 00:22:24.860\n And I wasn't necessarily engaging with the worship or connecting very specifically with the message.\n\n276\n00:22:24.860 --> 00:22:28.860\n But I kind of just felt like I was there and it's almost like me just standing in the shower.\n\n277\n00:22:28.860 --> 00:22:35.019\n And God just like, just washing over me. And I feel like when we're going through doubts or when\n\n278\n00:22:35.259 --> 00:22:39.980\n we're going through struggles. And we feel as if like we're not fitting in because everyone\n\n279\n00:22:39.980 --> 00:22:43.980\n else around us seems to be all capy, capy Christians. And we just don't relate to that.\n\n280\n00:22:45.420 --> 00:22:50.379\n I say, my encouragement to you would be, would say first to say that actually, that's also a part\n\n281\n00:22:50.379 --> 00:22:54.700\n of our faith walk. As you said, that was part of our faith walk. And the second encouragement for me\n\n282\n00:22:54.700 --> 00:23:00.139\n for you is other people are going through that at church. So do be open about that because you can\n\n283\n00:23:00.140 --> 00:23:05.180\n actually start a good conversation about questions and different challenges. And then the third one\n\n284\n00:23:05.180 --> 00:23:13.100\n it would be mate. Even though it's easier said and done, address those questions, but keep\n\n285\n00:23:13.100 --> 00:23:17.820\n going to the places where God is, right? He's everywhere, but he specifically manifests himself\n\n286\n00:23:18.460 --> 00:23:24.380\n in community. So keep putting yourself in community, keep seeking wise people around you,\n\n287\n00:23:24.380 --> 00:23:29.580\n putting wise people around you, and keep seeking God as in like it's a part of our faith walk.\n\n288\n00:23:29.659 --> 00:23:33.819\n And so don't be discouraged by it. Yeah. God is still with you. Yeah. On the back of that it's\n\n289\n00:23:33.819 --> 00:23:40.299\n really good point to us about keeping community around you. Don't isolate yourself in these\n\n290\n00:23:40.299 --> 00:23:47.339\n moments because it's easy to and it might feel like this is the only like only thing that makes me\n\n291\n00:23:47.339 --> 00:23:53.339\n feel okay is by being by myself. And that's often a dangerous place to be. Obviously, it's okay\n\n292\n00:23:53.339 --> 00:23:59.659\n good. It's fine to like have solitary moments, but don't stay there because we're actually meant\n\n293\n00:23:59.659 --> 00:24:06.059\n for community. We're actually meant to build each other up in seasons like this. So you're not alone\n\n294\n00:24:07.099 --> 00:24:12.939\n and it's almost like I want to encourage you to try find somebody. Doesn't have to be a group\n\n295\n00:24:12.939 --> 00:24:18.459\n of people. It can just be one person that you feel like you can trust with your heart and actually\n\n296\n00:24:18.460 --> 00:24:23.740\n be honest, be like, I actually feel like this. I'm struggling and I'm doubting my faith right now.\n\n297\n00:24:24.460 --> 00:24:31.420\n I have these questions. Can you help me? And you know, sometimes even just letting that out and\n\n298\n00:24:31.420 --> 00:24:37.740\n telling somebody relieves a lot of pressure from yourself and we're meant to share each other's\n\n299\n00:24:37.740 --> 00:24:42.940\n burdens together. We're meant to share like we're meant to do life together. You know, so\n\n300\n00:24:43.900 --> 00:24:48.220\n I would say try find that one person that you feel like you can trust. That's older than you.\n\n301\n00:24:48.220 --> 00:24:53.420\n I can speak into your situation and pray for you and cover you and love a new June this time.\n\n302\n00:24:53.980 --> 00:24:57.420\n So yeah, bless your friend. Come on. Go eat all this is.\n\n303\n00:24:58.380 --> 00:25:03.900\n Next question. If you guys could go to one moment in the Bible to live in, where would you go\n\n304\n00:25:04.620 --> 00:25:12.779\n from Bromte under Scott's CC? I'd go to live. I just want to experience being on the boat\n\n305\n00:25:12.940 --> 00:25:22.860\n seeing Jesus walk on water, but I want to live in the time of acts. I was literally going to say that.\n\n306\n00:25:22.860 --> 00:25:28.779\n I could see and but also maybe like I just need to change my faith perspective and believe that I can see\n\n307\n00:25:29.660 --> 00:25:35.420\n those miracles today, right? I was literally going to say the same thing acts. I mean, Jesus,\n\n308\n00:25:35.420 --> 00:25:41.820\n when he resurrected, it was 40 days where he was revealing himself in miracles. Yeah, in miraculous\n\n309\n00:25:41.819 --> 00:25:47.500\n ways. I want to be there. We'd maybe die during if we lived during like followed these guys around.\n\n310\n00:25:47.500 --> 00:25:52.700\n We might have died. I mean, we could die anyway. Oh yeah, totally. Prosecution. Which one is it?\n\n311\n00:25:52.700 --> 00:25:56.859\n Persecution. Oh, same but different.\n\n312\n00:25:58.859 --> 00:26:05.099\n Dang, that's a really, really good question. I would say maybe when Jesus fed the 5,000, I would have\n\n313\n00:26:05.580 --> 00:26:10.220\n wanted to be one of the 5,000, but I actually would have wanted to be the little boy with the 5\n\n314\n00:26:10.220 --> 00:26:15.660\n loaves and two fish because it might just want to be the main character. Okay, don't expose me like\n\n315\n00:26:15.660 --> 00:26:22.540\n that. But no, but imagine like witnessing the 5 loaves and two fish that you have and like\n\n316\n00:26:22.540 --> 00:26:27.260\n back in that day, like the 5, the 5 loaves were like barley loaves. Like they weren't great bread.\n\n317\n00:26:27.260 --> 00:26:33.820\n It was like bread that was associated with like animals. Like imagine seeing stuff like that and\n\n318\n00:26:33.819 --> 00:26:39.740\n seeing Jesus take that and make buckets and baskets of food out of that with your own eyes.\n\n319\n00:26:39.740 --> 00:26:46.700\n Like that's crazy. Wow. I would have vlogged it. Stop. What is up guys? Stop. Oh my gosh.\n\n320\n00:26:46.700 --> 00:26:51.339\n And the person watching you would have been savory, kidding me. I would have gone alive like guys\n\n321\n00:26:51.339 --> 00:26:58.379\n do it. Guys, you all guess Jesus just said two. Like Jesus, we'll just have to say to the vlog.\n\n322\n00:26:58.700 --> 00:27:05.340\n All right, all right, all right. Wait, I was also going to say. Oh, wait, you got all I thought you\n\n323\n00:27:05.340 --> 00:27:12.380\n said no. I said, oh, I would love to be in the room when I don't know which Mary was, but Mary\n\n324\n00:27:12.380 --> 00:27:18.860\n that brought the alabaster jar. Jesus feet with her hair. I'd love to be in that woman.\n\n325\n00:27:19.740 --> 00:27:30.140\n Beautiful moment. Yeah. And smell the room. From Anna Pascolyus. Great. Pascolyus.\n\n326\n00:27:30.140 --> 00:27:36.220\n Well done. She asked, how do you deal with difficult questions from non-Christian friends?\n\n327\n00:27:36.940 --> 00:27:40.860\n Well, how do you deal with difficult questions? Non-Christian friends ask about faith.\n\n328\n00:27:41.340 --> 00:27:48.860\n Hmm. Come on. Be honest. And if you don't have an answer for it, say, I actually don't know about\n\n329\n00:27:48.860 --> 00:27:54.220\n this just yet. Good question. Good question. Let me just come back to you about that. But also,\n\n330\n00:27:55.100 --> 00:28:02.220\n reading your Bible comes handy for that. And asking other people questions and learning and\n\n331\n00:28:02.220 --> 00:28:08.700\n cleaning from others older wisdom. That's a good answer. And if you're like me, I love\n\n332\n00:28:08.700 --> 00:28:13.180\n actually just engaging with those questions by myself. Actually, like dealing with them. Like,\n\n333\n00:28:13.819 --> 00:28:17.500\n what are these difficult questions that we have faced with faith actually going out and\n\n334\n00:28:19.019 --> 00:28:23.180\n looking at finding the answers yourself? You know, there are lots of books and commentaries and\n\n335\n00:28:23.180 --> 00:28:28.460\n things like that online and you can ask your pastors or whatever. But I find it a lot of fun\n\n336\n00:28:28.539 --> 00:28:32.539\n dealing with them, like, and wrestling with these questions. I have them. And they're fine to have\n\n337\n00:28:32.539 --> 00:28:38.860\n yourself and your friends have them. And it's great that they have them. And so maybe you can do it\n\n338\n00:28:38.860 --> 00:28:42.299\n together, you know, maybe invite them to be like, I don't know, but maybe we can go look at it\n\n339\n00:28:42.299 --> 00:28:48.140\n together. Or maybe go to a Bible school or maybe you just become a pastor and then when you become\n\n340\n00:28:48.140 --> 00:28:56.860\n a pastor, you have all the answers. I would say I was actually talking in my church community about\n\n341\n00:28:56.860 --> 00:29:03.580\n this a couple months ago. And I was seeing how, like, what is the point of engaging in these\n\n342\n00:29:03.580 --> 00:29:10.300\n conversations? You know, is it to, um, for you to see what I see and for me to win you over? Or\n\n343\n00:29:10.300 --> 00:29:16.300\n is it for me to love you? Yeah. And I think sometimes we, we want to be the person that saves the person\n\n344\n00:29:16.300 --> 00:29:21.020\n or like wins over the argument. But actually, we're not cool to argue. You know, we're actually\n\n345\n00:29:21.019 --> 00:29:26.940\n cool to love people. And I was saying how, um, you know, if we just focus on following the greatest\n\n346\n00:29:26.940 --> 00:29:31.099\n teaching, which is to love the Lord, your God and love your neighbors, yourself, nothing will ever\n\n347\n00:29:31.099 --> 00:29:36.700\n rise into an argument because actually the point of this conversation isn't for you to see what I see.\n\n348\n00:29:36.700 --> 00:29:42.299\n It's for me to come and love you from a place of understanding for you to see the love of Jesus.\n\n349\n00:29:42.299 --> 00:29:48.779\n And so like, yeah, I would say approach it in love. That sounds so vague, but like approach it in\n\n350\n00:29:48.779 --> 00:29:54.139\n love. And also your role is not to win a, win a debate or win a argument. It's to love someone.\n\n351\n00:29:54.139 --> 00:29:59.660\n Yeah. Come on. Last question, because this timer is a run in out. Hey, favorite Christian song\n\n352\n00:29:59.660 --> 00:30:04.460\n at the moment by N's huges. Thanks. Thanks for giving that question to us by the way.\n\n353\n00:30:04.460 --> 00:30:11.180\n I've been, I've been rocking with, uh, with DC3. You guys know, I've been rocking with them, um,\n\n354\n00:30:11.180 --> 00:30:15.819\n I don't know if it's songs, but I've been listening to them on my runs. So it's been good.\n\n355\n00:30:15.819 --> 00:30:25.179\n Um, my church has really been loving. I know a name by elevation recently. It's just wow,\n\n356\n00:30:25.179 --> 00:30:30.220\n dead, dead things come alive. Dead things come alive. Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus.\n\n357\n00:30:30.220 --> 00:30:37.259\n Like we love singing that. Um, yeah, so good. Another little more mellow or no, or maybe deep in\n\n358\n00:30:37.259 --> 00:30:43.099\n out. Mine is the wonder, the one for blood by Tiffany Hudson. Mm hmm.\n\n359\n00:30:47.819 --> 00:30:52.619\n Okay, right. Thank you guys so much for joining us. That will vocal flex there,\n\n360\n00:30:52.619 --> 00:30:58.859\n but crazy. So I go out, but guys, we really appreciate when you guys have this question.\n\n361\n00:30:58.859 --> 00:31:06.140\n Yeah. Love you all so much. So thank you for sending those questions in. And hopefully our answers\n\n362\n00:31:06.220 --> 00:31:11.740\n were something that you could take from, but also these do go out and ask your friends.\n\n363\n00:31:11.740 --> 00:31:16.380\n Shout out to them on security. Um, yeah, so see you next time for the next video.\n\n364\n00:31:17.500 --> 00:31:21.500\n See ya. Bye bye, Rae.\n","transcription_info":{"language":"en","language_probability":1,"duration":1881.5,"duration_after_vad":1881.5}}
